Worth Reading…

I highly recommend you read this post by Jennifer, over at Conversion Diary.  It’s about the discernment process she and her husband used to determine whether or not to participate in the KidSave Summer Miracle program – a charity that allows children living in orphanages all over the world a chance to live with an American family for the [...]

It must be summer..

Because I’m covered in bug bites, have a sunburn on my shoulders, yet my legs are still white as the driven snow.
Hooray!
Has everyone else been enjoying this gorgeous weather we’ve been having?  I wish it could stay like this throughout the summer.  Tim and I spent an hour or so this evening just sitting and chatting [...]

Best Haul Ever

Tonight at Albertson’s, I think I had the best haul ever in my couponing “career”.  For those of you who don’t know, Albertson’s has started occasionally offering coupon “doublers”, a coupon which doubles the value of another coupon, up to 1.00.  This week there were 3 “doublers” in the Albertson’s ad, and they are good [...]

Most recently he and his divorced wife, Miss Piggy and their seven” frigs [...]

Instead, I had a rough night with acid reflux and woke up kind of achey.  I took a hot [...]

Happy Mother’s Day

It’s Mother’s Day people, and I’m feeling all these strange emotions of affection  and appreciation about me mum.  I thought I’d try to find a poem to express how I feel about my mom in honor of Mother’s Day, but of course, everything out there is way too maudlin and sappy and just not realistic.
So instead I’ll [...]

A Name for Baby Joy

I love reading stories like this.
Could it be just a giant ‘ol coincidence?  Sure… it could be.  That’s entirely possible I suppose.
But it’s also entirely possible that it’s a sign that there is something greater than ourselves at work in this universe.  That perhaps, just perhaps, there’s a divine plan for our lives.  A purpose behind what [...]
