Should you happen to find yourself wandering through a store in the immediate future…
Don’t take a turn down the heavily discounted holiday items aisle..
Don’t pick up a bag of Hershey’s White Chocolate Candy Cane Kisses, and think, Oooohhhhhh!!!
Don’t decide that since they’re 80% off you should buy 3 of them!!
Don’t take one to work, leave a bag in the back seat, and leave one out on the kitchen counter.
And Don’t Even Think about making chocolate crinkle cookies with these, and pressing one delightful kiss into the center of them.
DON’T
DO
IT!
But, if you do…I’ll understand.

And I’ll help you eat the cookies. Cuz that’s the kind of friend I am.

All I can say is . . .yum. . .and what were you thinking!

Clearly, there was no cognitive thinking taking place there… just my inner sugar-holic on a free-for-all…

Ummm . . . yeah. I think I did the exact same thing about two weeks ago. Went for chocolate chips to make cookies, found holiday M&Ms on sale for cheaper than the chips, and decided that we had to buy them. You know, two or three packages because they were such a good deal. And because red and green cookies are awesome year round, right?
And of course, one can’t leave a cup of m&ms in an open bag in the pantry for too long. Within a week, with little handfuls here and there, the bag was gone.
Best,
Sarah
