Bad, Bad Books..
I have had a run of bad luck in my reading material lately. Four different fictional novels, each with implausible, overwrought plots, and approximately 63 unnecessary characters later, and I’m left irritated and frustrated and wary of picking up another paperback for awhile…
I need a guaranteed good read. Something with humor, romance, adventure – how hard can that be!?
Any [...]

Book Meme
I read about something called a book meme over at By Sun and Candlelight and thought it sounded like fun. Here’s how it works:
1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages)
2. Open the book to page 123
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences
5. Tag five people.
So here’s my contribution, [...]

Proof Positive
Just in case you thought I might be exaggerating an eensy-weensy bit about how sickly I”m feeling, I present to you proof of my misery…
I don’t know what’s more pathetic. My nose or my hair.

I hab a code
Translation: I have a cold. A cough. A runny nose. A wheezy sound when I breathe. A general sense of not-so-well-being. You get the picture.

Now you can finally figure me out…
I can’t vouch for it’s accuracy, but I’d score it a 70% out of 100. Frivolous entertainment if nothing else.

Spring Cleaning: Part Deaux
My previous post about feeling the cleaning itch coming on proved true over the weekend.
Every cupboard and drawer was cleaned out, wiped down and reorganized. Rugs were moved, curtains were bought (soon to be hung) and the animals were duly terrorized. The vacuum cleaner is generally regarded as satan’s spawn by the furry occupants of [...]

Care vs Cure
I usually try to keep things light and fluffy on my blog, because, let’s face it, I’m a people-pleaser. I want my writing to appeal to as broad of an audience as possible. (I think I’m up to 6 readers from 2, so maybe I’m making progress?)
However, I started reading a new book last night that [...]
